What is IOT?

Internet of things word itself define its strength and uniqueness. As we live in a world where the network work as the strength of reticulated physical devices i.e vehicle, home appliances and other embedded with electronic, software, sensor, actuators and connectivity which allows these object to connect and share data.

                                 Internet of Things works in the field of reciprocation with different aspect of physical devices it could be like human to human or human to computer interplay. This is provided with uniqueness of identifiers to severalize the data and it is an ability to transfer it on to the wide network we live in i.e INTERNET.

                                              IOT is a connection between the computing devices where it is mechanical or digital device. In this if we talk about the word THING then it can be a person with heart monitor implant. So, now if we conclude with the IOT, introduction then, we can say it is basically a wide NETWORK over which reticular devices are interconnected and place where the transfer of data at wide network takes place and the thing in this is the heart as it help us in transhipment of data at wide aspect of region.

 

PEOPLE WHO ARE REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT SOFTWARE SHOULD MAKE THEIR HARDWARE

Whereas we know IOT is basically a interconnection between SOFTWARE and HARDWARE. So as IOT is running on the frontier portion of the technology. IOT is being used to define internet adding affinity between mum devices.

                                                  Actually the thing is the people around the surrounding of technology really knows yet how big it’s going to get because the possibilities are really endless under the technology of IOT. In upcoming future it have been observed that at least 20 billion devices will be coherent.

 

Need of IOT

                     

When we come to implement IOT in our real life then we go through things like we live in world where the lights automatically get turned on when car approaches the driveway, the coffee starts brewing when the morning alarm goes off and the front door automatically unlocks when approached by a member of the household, but stays locked when a stranger arrives on the front steps. The cosmos where things are interconnected like a network of devices that are connected to the hyperspace that is INTERNET used everyday to scrutiny GOOGLE, download and update images and get in connection with the friends.

                                                                       To really understand IOT we have to relate ourself with the technology we live in from starting with a very basic example i.e our mobile phones. Have we ever thought about HOW the GPS of our mobile works or  HOW mobile gyroscope work or HOW adaptive brightness work and beyond this how the voice recognition and face recognition work??? These are the feature which make mobile phone a remarkable thing to be in market which interact with human so easily. Like we can say that according to our GPS location mobile phones brightness could be adjusted but when they interact with each other these features come together to bring in a better system that anything which they can provide individually as such thats what IOT is.

 

IOT IS A PLATFORM WHERE WE CAN CONNECT EVERYDAY THINGS WHICH ARE EMBEDDED WITH EITHER ELECTRONICS, SOFTWARES OR SENSORS TO THE INTERNET AND THIS INTERNET ENABLE US TO COLLECT AS WELL AS EXCHANGE BETWEEN THESE THINGS.

 

                                                   IOT is basically expanding the interdependence of humans to INTERACT, CONTRIBUTE and COLLABORATE with things around us. In this era if we can expand this interdependence with respect to different thing around us then, we would be building proper Internet of Things around us. This would be a much more a safer, secure, effortless and time saving environment in existence.

 

WHAT COULD BE THE VARIOUS BENEFITS OF IOT?

 

If we talk about IOT the first thing that comes under the consideration is that EFFICIENT RESOURCE UTILIZATION i.e using the data available. This resource could be in terms of monitory, natural resource and it could also be an input taken up by anyone.

                                                                               These resources could be more efficient if we have a platform that is more smarter and interconnected as well apart from this it minimizes human effort. As time is the major problem this can be consider to save under IOT. IOT let us achieve the true potential of technology.

HOW IOT WORKS?

 IOT works under three factor i.e

  1. CONNECT
  2. ANALYZE
  3. INTEGRATE

Initial stage is to build a connection between various things to the IOT platform and then, analyze the data collected and use it to build Business Intelligence and lastly to integrate the various models to improve user experience.

                          So, the first stage of being connected means Device Vertualization i.e standardize integration of devices with IOT enterprise. After, vertualization there is a High Speed Messaging, as we have connected all the devices these have to generate the data which help us to enable reliable, secure and bi-directional communication between the devices and the platform. Third stage is Endpoint Management this help us in managing device endpoint identity, metadata and lifecycle states for all devices which basically means that from which devices and where data is coming and what is the need of data.

                                                 Now, when we discuss about analyzation the very initial stage is Stream Processing under which we discuss about real time analysis of incoming data streams with event aggregation, filtering and correlation. Then, comes Data Enrichment inside this we enrich raw data streams with contextual information and generate composite streams. Further, preceding Event Store in this we discuss about query and visualize massive amounts of data with Integrated BI Cloud Service support and enable big data analysis.

                                                                             While coming to the third factor i.e integrate in this we firstly work upon Enterprise Connectivity in this we will knock around dynamically dispatch critical IOT data and events to applications and process flow. Thereafter comes REST APIs in this communication is based between API based integration with Cloud apps and IOT devices and then, the last is Command and Control is to send messages to devices from enterprise and mobile apps, independent of device connectivity.
